What is a PIN?

The PIN is a 4-digit number. It is a security feature designed to protect your character from getting hacked. You need the PIN to use the Lost Password Form on the website or to change your password and emergency contact in game. The PIN will be sent to you once you have set an emergency contact. The PIN remains valid even if your character runs out of premium time.
