The happier your pet is, the more damage it will deal. Moreover, your pet will be useless if its satisfaction has fallen under 10%.

To raise the satisfaction of your pet, you need to feed it. You can buy treats for your pet in the small village south of Aurea.

Further, you can buy satisfaction scrolls with Platinum in the Marketplace.

Note that the satisfaction of your pet will sink more slowly while your pet is dismissed. Pets without skulls do not lose satisfaction while dismissed.
