My pet's level is too low? Why?

The level of your pet does not increase in the same way as your characters’ does. Pets have their own level system and increase in level much slower than your character. The power of a pet level is not equal to a player level.

Also note that your pet will lose experience when it dies. It can also be downgraded like a character.
