How does a world merge work?

For a merge there will be one target world. This is the world all others will be merged into. The target world will keep its number and state concerning world quests and events.

A world merged into the target world is referred to as source world. These worlds will lose their numbers, and their world quest and event states. Also the guilds of the source worlds won’t be transferred.
